Valerie Hutley, the owner of Pixel Chicks, has loved having a camera in her hands, for as long as she can remember.

    I have three children and have came to understand the importance of capturing the many milestones in  a child's life and the ever changing and growing expressions.

  I want to make people feel at ease in front of the camera. I personally hate the feeling of being rushed to get the perfect picture. Rushing around the house to get the kids ready...only to discover that they got their outfit dirty....not getting in on time to a scheduled photo session....kids getting cranky in the waiting room....a photographer in a hurry because he/she is late for the next appointment.

   I like to capture natural expressions by letting the kids be kids. So don't worry if little Makenna doesn't want to sit still or Mike just wants to play.  I will be able to capture their true personalities. Those are the memories that you will want to cherish forever.

Who We Are

Pixel Chicks was founded in January 2008. Our primary goal is to offer our clients a more relaxed on location photo session.

   I am an on location photographer. I will take pictures in your home, back yard, a local park, school, etc.  Let me know what kind of pictures you need & I will take pictures to suit your needs! The choices are endless.
